Our server is called ‘Playfire | Firestarters.’
It’s an Official home of Playfire, a now discontinued Social Network. We talk about everything; from games, to movies, cars, tech, anime, music, game deals and even to the latest news of games. Everyone is welcome.

Recently, Discord released their new server customization feature (finally), and I thought now is a nice to expand our community even more and tell you about it.
1) Server channels; as stated above we have channels ranging from different sections from games, tech, films/anime and all the way down to politics.
2) Rules; pretty basic community rules. We aren’t heavy hard hitting like most communities that you joined.
3) Emotes; some are Playfire/GMG related, some are not. Some of them do get rotated here and there.
4) Game Nights; depending on the amount of people and specific game. We might do game nights on free weekend titles, games that are free or that we all have.
- GMG (Green Man Gaming) roles? | GMG staff does take part in conversations and games. Since GMG owned Playfire, it seemed right to give them specific roles based on what they do at the company. Whether being a staff member or just a Volunteer Community Moderator.
- Is the server Official in which GMG tweets the server or posts the server in blogs, etc? | Sadly, no.
- What happened to Playfire? | The site got shutdown by GMG to focus on their ‘Community’ sub-site. Most Playfire members do not like it, and since the announcement, this Discord server was created. Playfire.com now redirects to https://www.greenmangaming.com/playfire.
- How many members? | As of 9/21/17, we have a total of 265 members.
