Let’s start off by saying a Call of Duty game with 25% of the content locked behind a platform will never get a 10/10. This locked content can easily been a month long, but a year? No PlayStation bent over and accepted an ass fucking from Activision.

I paid $59.99 on the Battlenet Launcher for the PC version and I felt like this game was worth $49.99 for how much content is in this game, that’s how much it should have been for PC and Xbox One users.

  • Old-gen consoles: $59.99
  • Next-gen consoles: $69.99

Even though it’s the same game and same content, you have to pay more because you want to play it on PS5 and Xbox One. And if that’s not a scummy and scam-like business practice, let’s talk about how Cold War is a scam hear me out.

Locked Content

Activision has done this year after year and it’s getting tiresome. This happened in Modern Warfare (2019) where the ‘Spec Ops Survival’ game mode was locked to PlayStation only for 1 year, it just now expired and it’s now available on Xbox One and PC.

Now this year, they’ve done it again but increased locked content even further by locking progression XP, more custom classes and of course the ‘Zombies Onslaught’ the newest game mode.
